Privacy policy

Nopad does not collect your data. Not anonymously, not in aggregate, not for analytics. This policy is short because there is very little to describe.
What Nopad stores, and where
Everything you put into Nopad, your tasks, your categories, your daily history, your theme and appearance settings, is stored on your device, in Nopad's own storage and in a shared container that lets the app and its widget show you the same day. None of it is transmitted anywhere. There is no Nopad server. There is no account to create, and no way to sign in.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
What Nopad does not do
- No analytics or telemetry of any kind.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking, and no sharing of any data with other companies for tracking.
- No third-party SDKs.
- No network requests. Nopad contains no networking code at all.
This website
Everything above describes the app. The website is separate, and it asks for one thing: if you use the cost dial on the home page and choose to leave an email address, that address is stored with Resend, which handles our mailing list, along with the three numbers you set on the dials. It is used to send occasional promotions and what we are learning about attention, and for nothing else. It is never sold, and never passed to anyone for their own use.
The list and the app are not connected, and cannot be. Nopad sends nothing to us and has no account to tie an address to, so subscribing tells us nothing about whether you have installed the app, opened it, or removed it, and unsubscribing changes nothing about the app either.
Leaving the address is optional; the dial works without it. Every message we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete the address at any time by writing to the address at the bottom of this page. The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Blocked apps
If you use Nopad's focus feature to block apps during a session, the selection is made through Apple's own Screen Time system. Apple's design keeps those choices private: the app receives opaque tokens, not the names of the apps you picked. Nopad cannot see which apps you chose, and that information never leaves your device.
Purchases
Nopad offers an optional paid subscription, Nopad Pro. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Nopad receives only whether an active subscription exists, never your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. Apple's handling of a purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Nopad Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and yearly, each starting with a free trial. The price is the one shown in the App Store for your country; the app reads it from Apple and never sets or stores it itself. Billing, renewal, trials and cancellation are all managed by Apple. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account subscription settings, and a trial cancelled before it ends is not charged. Use of the subscription is governed by the Terms of Use (EULA).
Children
Nopad is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Your rights
Because Nopad holds no data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. The data is yours, on your device, under your control. Deleting the app removes it. The one exception is an email address you chose to leave on the website: write to us and it is deleted.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Nopad ever changes what it stores or sends, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
